Recently I went to the zoo and was taking a few pictures as I was walking around. While attempting to capture images of the animals I discovered even when in captivity they are not easy to picture, there are many places for them to hide and wonder off too. The ones that I managed to get the best images of were ones that were in the open enclosures and did not have to picture through glass. The lens that I used was an 18-55mm, I would have used a 50-200mm but I had forgotten it so it was also the animals that I could get closer to that I got better images of. These are a few of my favorite images from the day.

Meerkats
This is my favorite image from this set of photographs, I love how it captures the look of meerkats as they look around to protect their territory. However I also think that it shows the cheeky side of meerkats and how they like to socialise with not only themselves but people as well, and they know who is a predator and who will not going to hurt them.
